In recent work Janssen explores the relation between reflection and the dematerialization of the body, visualizing the human figure as an anonymous, insignificant element caught in the complex web of the present.  Janssen refers not only to the fact that the human figure became transparant – a mere shadow or projection of reality but she actually underlines the generalization of the state of figurance, since the control society became our condition of life. visit artist website
